One of your inspirations for this collection is 1987 horror flick 'Lost Boys'. Whose side were you on - the boys or the vampires?
The boys. Well really just Corey Haim's side actually. He was so cute. I had the biggest crush on him when I was little.
Vampire tales are pretty big in Slavic folklore. Did your mum ever tell you any cool stories about them?
Nah, we got ‘donkey’ stories. Not quite as cool. Dida, our grandfather, had a whole series of them based around a donkey that masqueraded as a human but people always noticed his tail sticking out from under his coat. Never mind the head. It's so funny what you believe when you're a kid!
If you were going on a trip to Transylvania this winter, what key pieces of your range would you pack with you
and why?
I'd take our cross collar coat in panther coating. Its thick and warm, the collar acts like a scarf and its a bit vampire looking so I’d feel right at home.
